This pilot project is implemented in schools in the Province of Liège at the request of Intradel, the intermunicipal agency for waste treatment in the Liège region.

This fun activity is aimed at encouraging children to behave like good citizens and prevent waste every day.

The children are helped to understand that:

• packaging is useful but not always essential; many products are overpackaged

• there are alternative solutions which are simple but require a little willingness

• the things we buy have an impact on the environment

At the end of the activity, the teacher is given a teacher’s pack.
